Cássio dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Rossi having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Adilson Monteiro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Aunas EC's Leopoldo Rossi. Leopoldo Rossi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sub 18-FCSC's Tiago Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Trancoso in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Aunas EC's Leopoldo Rossi got control of the ball when Adilson Monteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erik Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Sandrinho Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 35 minutes, Cauã Ramalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sub 18-FCSC and the Aunas EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aunas EC booed when Sub 18-FCSC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cássio dos Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Rossi. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Tiago Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Trancoso in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Adilson Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sub 18-FCSC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adilson Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Aunas EC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Edvaldo da Mata hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandrinho Trancoso to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandrinho Trancoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Tiago Abreu made a huge save. Edvaldo da Mata hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adilson Monteiro in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edvaldo da Mata got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 61st minute, Edvaldo da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio dos Santos in the 70th minute of play forced Aunas EC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erik Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Rossi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adilson Monteiro went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
