Davi Maciel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 8 minutes, Davi Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uari FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juvenal Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavo Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Fernandes in the 20th minute of play. In the 27th minute Chico Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Mendes having to interfere. Márcio Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olavo Mendes having to make a save. The supporters of Uari FC booed when Affua EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Luiz Gustavo Botelho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Affua EC's Baltazar Prestes didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Davi Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Chico Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chico Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olavo Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chico Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. Davi Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Benê Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Mendes having to interfere. Márcio Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Márcio Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Olavo Mendes made a huge save. Uari FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
