Diego Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder de Azevedo in the 13th minute of the match. When Benjamim Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jerusalem FC's protests and gave Benjamim Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. Diego Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Inveia's Gilson Mumbach got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder de Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Lira having to make a save. In the 28thth minute of the game Benjamim Koehler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inveia's Diego Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilson Mumbach struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mauro Siqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inveia. After a defensive mix-up in Inveia's zone, Benjamim Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Lira came out of the goal and Benjamim Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inveia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jerusalem FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Koehler in the 36th minute of play forced Inveia's goalkeeper Diego Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Siqueira having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélder de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Rogério de Queirós hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Diego Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder de Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Inveia's Nuno Mumbach got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Inveia's zone, Hélder de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Lira came out of the goal and Hélder de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Inveia's César Vinhas got a free kick in the 95th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
