Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elano Cardozo kicked off to start the match. Oscar da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Uruque SS booed when Tesouras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Chico Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luiz de Azevedo was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Elano Cardozo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elano Cardozo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Tesouras's João da Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred Koehler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Elano Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Uruque SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elano Cardozo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tesouras's Marcinho Peixoto got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fiori Antunes struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Sílvio Luiz de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruque SS. After 29 minutes of play, Tesouras's João da Cunha made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fred Koehler was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Tesouras's Oscar da Silva got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Marinho in the 38th minute of play forced Tesouras's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcinho Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Fiori Antunes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tesouras's Sílvio Luiz de Azevedo didn't even have to move. Fred Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The Uruque SS fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Uruque SS's Elano Cardozo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elano Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 played minutes Tesouras got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Proença. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Cardozo in the 70th minute of play forced Tesouras's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João da Cunha's late challenge caught a Uruque SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Tesouras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elano Cardozo in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sílvio Luiz de Azevedo saved Tesouras from getting behind. Jacinto Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Luiz de Azevedo having to make a save. When Elano Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Uruque SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elano Cardozo couldn't finish the play. If Aníbal Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Uruque SS's Elano Cardozo in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tesouras's goalie prevented a goal. Marcinho Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Angelo Toscano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruque SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Tesouras succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Uruque SS had controlled the match.
