Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Chico Varela got the match started through his kick off. Eduardo Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sílvio Luiz de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dráuzio Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Tramandai FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráuzio Xavier couldn't finish the play. Dráuzio Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tramandai FC! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Tesouras. Vânderson Dantas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ruy Souto. 1-0. Vicente Mello hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Glauco Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tramandai FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tesouras the free kick. In the 17th minute, Glauco Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes, Chico Varela made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tramandai FC's Ruy Souto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, João da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tesouras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Varela in the 29th minute of play forced Tramandai FC's goalkeeper Ruy Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Tramandai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Varela came free, but Ruy Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tramandai FC's Glauco Abraão got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Glauco Abraão off the ground. A collision led to Tramandai FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Glauco Abraão hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Varela in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Souto saved Tramandai FC from getting behind. Sílvio Luiz de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chico Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Souto having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Oscar da Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tesouras and the Tramandai FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oscar da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 55th match minute, Tesouras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar da Silva to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Tramandai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Varela came free, but Ruy Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Chico Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tesouras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Oscar da Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruy Souto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar da Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Tesouras's João da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Chico Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chico Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Souto having to interfere. The supporters of Tesouras booed when Tramandai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tesouras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
