The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Téo Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Murilo Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmiro Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Silvério Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belmiro Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Esteves having to interfere. When Tibúrcio Valle came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Paripiranga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibúrcio Valle couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Paripiranga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Borges came free, but Silvério Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Osvaldinho Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Trevisan FC booed when Paripiranga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enéas Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enéas Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Trevisan FC got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Carneiro. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Gustavo Rocha took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Silvério Esteves to make any attempt to save it. In the 90th minute, Tibúrcio Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paripiranga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Belmiro Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trevisan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvério Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Paripiranga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Amorim came free, but Silvério Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
