Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonsinho Secco took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Valdomiro Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabeca EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bolao's Wilson Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Secco in the 11th minute of play. If Valdomiro Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Secco in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Valdomiro Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Afonsinho Secco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Rabeca EC's Valdomiro Ribeiro in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bolao's goalie prevented a goal. Afonsinho Secco's late challenge caught a Bolao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonsinho Secco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Rabeca EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho Secco to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Afonsinho Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Gerber in the 31st minute of play forced Bolao's goalkeeper Wilson Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rabeca EC's Wesley Xavier got a free kick in the 36th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rabeca EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Bolao a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgard Linhares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rabeca EC's Patrick Silva. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Bolao's zone, Valdomiro Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Melo came out of the goal and Valdomiro Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Bittencourt to make the kick off. Patrick Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Pitta in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Bolao's goalkeeper Wilson Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelsinho Gerber. In the 55th minute, Anderson Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anderson Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Bittencourt during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bolao's Rodolfo Bittencourt got a free kick in the 66th minute. Wesley Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Nelsinho Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolao and the Rabeca EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valdomiro Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 minutes, Wesley Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rabeca EC and the Bolao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wesley Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Armando Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Armando Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Valdomiro Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdomiro Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Wilson Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Ceresso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rabeca EC the free kick. Valdomiro Ribeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Wilson Melo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Nelsinho Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabeca EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelsinho Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Silva came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Bolao's Armando Pitta. But to his dismay, Armando Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
