Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marcelinho Catarinense made the kick off and thus started the match. A hard shot 3 in the game by Jean Hames from a close distance when the talented Tião Guedes managed to make a qualified save. Leria's players were relieved. In the 6th minute, Jean Hames fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tião Guedes, passed just outside the right post. Renan Arantes scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Delfim Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delfim Simões in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Pontes saved Galha FC from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Delfim de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 22 minutes, Renan Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 minutes, Róbson Pitta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leria and the Galha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Leria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Galha FC's Jean Hames got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Simões in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márcio Fernandes during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Leria:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galha FC:s goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renan Arantes to strike the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Jean Hames in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jean Hames might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tião Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean Hames ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelinho Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivo das Neves's late challenge caught a Leria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. Ivo das Neves hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean Hames in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tião Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelinho Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Renan Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelinho Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delfim Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leria's Tião Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Catarinense in the 86th minute of play. Marcelinho Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tião Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Delfim de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Leria's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Hames came free, but Tião Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leria succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Galha FC had controlled the match.
