Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Álvaro Martins made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Dudu da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdomiro Rossi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Martins in the 8th minute of play forced Rey de Copas's goalkeeper Valdomiro Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Baianos short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Bernardo Pinheiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valdomiro Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celsinho Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Valdomiro Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu da Costa in the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Rey de Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Baiano to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Jofre's Cafu Nunes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Mota in the 33rd minute of play forced Rey de Copas's goalkeeper Valdomiro Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rey de Copas getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Agnaldo Oliveira hit a great ball. If Celsinho Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Baiano's late challenge caught a Jofre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Baiano helped the player get up and apologised. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Luís Gustavo Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Pinheiro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio Mota during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Jofre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. If Celsinho Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Álvaro Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Rossi having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Jofre's Celsinho Barral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdomiro Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rey de Copas's Valdomiro Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Martins in the 87th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Álvaro Martins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdomiro Rossi. Álvaro Martins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jofre walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
