But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavinho Teixeira couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Antônio Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moleques FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonsinho Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavinho Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. Jefferson Valle made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Flavinho Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. Flavinho Teixeira had several of the Pombo FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Jefferson Valle as he didn't even see the shot coming. Flavinho Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Pombo FC booed when Moleques FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Renan Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Castro in the 86th minute of the match. Flavinho Teixeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Jefferson Valle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 93 played minutes Pombo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Coutinho. Moleques FC played a much better game than Pombo FC and deserved their victory. The Pombo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
