Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carnaubais AD's Edson Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Macedo in the 5th minute of play. Alessandro Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Edson Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edson Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Macedo in the 16th minute of the match. Beto Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Vander having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Alessandro Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esteio SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bebeto Machado came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Esteio SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bebeto Machado couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Esteio SS's Alessandro Macedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edson Vander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alessandro Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Vander having to interfere. Válbson Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Yuri Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Esteio SS's goalkeeper Yuri Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elder Guimarães. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Válbson Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. Yuri Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Esteio SS's Ronaldão Vargas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edson Vander but with some difficulty. Ivo Goiano hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Alessandro Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessandro Macedo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edson Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carnaubais AD's Edson Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Carnaubais AD from getting a goal against them. If Alessandro Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Esteio SS's Alessandro Macedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edson Vander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Carnaubais AD's goalkeeper Edson Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Macedo. In the 88th minute of the match, Alessandro Macedo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edson Vander was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 92nd play minute Alessandro Macedo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edson Vander. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Vinhas got free with Edson Vander in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Carnaubais AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Esteio SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
