Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bacre's Antônio Marquez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Dida Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute Bebeto Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave corinthians the free kick. Dráuzio Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Bacre's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Siqueira came free, but Célio Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murilo Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Célio Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bebeto Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Dida Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Antônio Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacre's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dida Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Murilo Vander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but corinthians's Jonas de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dino do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Antônio Marquez struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jonas de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacre. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. corinthians walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
