Henrique Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Braga's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Dráuzio Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Furtado having to interfere. 26 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mandiqueira AD's Richard Braga fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. Mandiqueira AD's Dedê Braga suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cícero Silva hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match Remo da Cunha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrique Souto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dráuzio Paranaense to make the kick off. Cláudio Arósio struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Henrique Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandiqueira AD. In the 56th minute, Cícero Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Dráuzio Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Souto having to interfere. Rony Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Henrique Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Arósio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Henrique Souto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antônio Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráuzio Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jefferson Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dráuzio Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Richard Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Souto having to interfere. The supporters of Mandiqueira AD booed when Linhares AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Cláudio Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandiqueira AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Arósio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Arósio got free with Henrique Souto in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the game, Zé Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linhares AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandiqueira AD the free kick. Zé Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Cláudio Arósio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Henrique Souto made a huge save. Mandiqueira AD played a much better game than Linhares AD and deserved their victory. The Linhares AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
