Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Víktor Vaz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Juvi EC's Thomás Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrique Souto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antônio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Cícero Silva notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Juvi EC's Raphael Marques. Raphael Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Juvi EC's zone, Dráuzio Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Marques came out of the goal and Dráuzio Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cícero Silva fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linhares AD's protests and gave Cícero Silva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Juvi EC booed when Linhares AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrique Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Víktor Vaz's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Linhares AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Cruz to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomás Dracena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrique Souto. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. When Juvi EC's Víktor Vaz in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linhares AD's goalie prevented a goal. Víktor Vaz struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Henrique Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juvi EC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Vaz in the 38th minute of play forced Linhares AD's goalkeeper Henrique Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Linhares AD's Cícero Silva got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Víktor Vaz in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique Souto saved Linhares AD from getting behind. If Thomás Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Paranaense was the one to do the kick off. Víktor Vaz charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Vaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Juvi EC got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Vaz. Frédson de Brito hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Linhares AD's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Dracena came free, but Henrique Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Vaz in the 64th minute of play forced Linhares AD's goalkeeper Henrique Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Víktor Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enéas Vianna during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enéas Vianna hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Dráuzio Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raphael Marques having to make a save. Henrique Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Dracena in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Juvi EC's zone, Luís Eduardo Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Marques came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
