Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rafinha Vides started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Ventura's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Vides came free, but Célio Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Mangueira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Robinho do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Maranhense in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Cambaquara's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Maranhense came free, but Robinho do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Mendes in the 15th minute of play. If Leonel Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Augusto Gaúcho's late challenge caught a Cambaquara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Augusto Gaúcho helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Ventura got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Gaúcho. After having played for 24 minutes, Rafinha Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambaquara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha Vides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafim Mendes struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Célio Alvarenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambaquara. Rafinha Vides blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Célio Alvarenga having to make a save. In the 35th minute Serafim Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Macedo got free with Robinho do Valle in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Serafim Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Délio Maranhense made the kick off in the second half. When Pedrão Souto fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ventura's protests and gave Pedrão Souto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ventura getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pedrão Souto hit a great ball. Ventura's Célio Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Vides in the 61st minute of play. When Ventura's Délio Maranhense in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cambaquara's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Leonel Macedo in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 73rd match minute, Ventura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Souto to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Leonel Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho do Valle having to interfere. Robinho do Valle came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Ventura's Délio Maranhense. But to his dismay, Délio Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Délio Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Robinho do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Délio Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ventura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Délio Maranhense couldn't finish the play. Ventura's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
