Digo Zilles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Sanches having to make a save. When Luiz Paulo Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolaxa FC's protests and gave Luiz Paulo Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bobo booed when Bolaxa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Leme hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Bobo's Laércio Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Montenegro in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Bolaxa FC's Nuno Sanches nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laércio Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bolaxa FC's Leandro Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Reis in the 21st minute of play. Nuno Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Laércio Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Bolaxa FC's Nuno Sanches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laércio Paulista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leandro Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Bolaxa FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jonathan Linhares hit a great ball. If Digo Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Sanches got free with Laércio Paulista in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Betinho Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bolaxa FC's Francisco Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, one of Bobo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mateus Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Bolaxa FC's Francisco Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Nuno Sanchess short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Laércio Paulista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Bobo's Laércio Paulista got control of the ball when Nuno Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bolaxa FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
