Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marquinhos Palmeira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Humberto Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Hamílton Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Arce having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamílton Queirós in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ventura's Jefferson Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Palmeira in the 13th minute of play. Hamílton Queirós took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson Arce. Jefferson Arce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jefferson Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Palmeira in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ventura's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Queirós came free, but Jefferson Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 24 minutes on the clock, João Pedro Cruz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 24th minute, one of Ventura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ventura. After a rather tough play, Voltas EC's Caco Quirino got a free kick in the 28th minute. Jefferson Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Palmeira in the 33rd minute of play. Jefferson Arce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamílton Queirós's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Jefferson Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes Voltas EC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Moura. Ventura's Jefferson Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Queirós in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Voltas EC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Délio de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Voltas EC booed when Ventura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Moura was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Palmeira in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 59 in the game by Marquinhos Palmeira from a close distance when the talented Jefferson Arce managed to make a qualified save. Ventura's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamílton Queirós got free with Jefferson Arce in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marquinhos Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Arce having to interfere. Hamílton Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jefferson Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Ventura's goalkeeper Jefferson Arce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamílton Queirós. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Marquinhos Palmeira took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jefferson Arce to make any attempt to save it. Hamílton Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Voltas EC's Caco Quirino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jefferson Arce. Jefferson Arce yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The supporters of Ventura booed when Voltas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ventura's Ulisses Teles got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Voltas EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
