Fiori Fantini started the match with the kick off. Tião Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. If Fiori Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pinhel SC booed when Itapaoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Fantini in the 15th minute of play forced Itapaoa's goalkeeper Tião Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Pinhel SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Arruda came free, but João Carlos Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fiori Fantini struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tião Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhel SC. If Wilian Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Carlos Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Arruda in the 31st minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Itapaoa's goalkeeper Tião Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valério Campidelis. In the 43rd minute, Fiori Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilian Arruda was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Pinhel SC's Fiori Fantini made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tião Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Pinhel SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itapaoa:s goal. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Itapaoa's Artur Munhoz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of João Carlos Botelho. Tião Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Campidelis in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Itapaoa's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Fantini came free, but Tião Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magno Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Botelho having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Fiori Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pinhel SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Pinhel SC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Armandinho Recife hit a great ball. Wilian Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tião Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Fantini in the 99th minute of play. Pinhel SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
