The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belchior Amorim was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Cunha SS got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Fantini. After a defensive mix-up in Cunha SS's zone, Marcus de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho Cardoso came out of the goal and Marcus de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Marquinhos de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marquinhos de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ricardinho Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus de Souza in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardinho Cardoso saved Cunha SS from getting behind. Patrick Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Amorim in the 76th minute of play. Nilson Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Patrick Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Cardoso having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
