Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Belchior Amorim started the match with the kick off. In the last second Ricardinho Cardoso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Deivid Vergílio in the 6thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Ezequiel Furlan fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CP MZF's protests and gave Ezequiel Furlan a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes CP MZF got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Furlan. Belchior Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Evandro Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CP MZF's Deivid Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evandro Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nilson Torres's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Ezequiel Furlan got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The Cunha SS fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Cunha SS's Belchior Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 31 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cunha SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CP MZF the free kick. Caio Gonçalves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Ricardinho Cardoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Evandro Queiroz came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cunha SS's Belchior Amorim. But to his dismay, Belchior Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caio Gonçalves was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CP MZF's zone, Donatello Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evandro Queiroz came out of the goal and Donatello Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Belchior Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes of play Cunha SS's Osvaldinho Ramos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Cunha SS getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Osvaldinho Ramos hit a great ball. Caio Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Donatello Barros's late challenge caught a CP MZF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donatello Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Cunha SS got a freekick which was hit by Donatello Barros. Nilson Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Deivid Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilson Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Evandro Queiroz made a huge save. Nilson Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Queiroz having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Telmo Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CP MZF and the Cunha SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, one of CP MZF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CP MZF. Caio Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Cardoso having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fellipe Monteiro during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricardinho Cardoso went to the wrong direction when Telmo Porto was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Caio Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Caio Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CP MZF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nilson Torres's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Evandro Queiroz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cunha SS's Ricardinho Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Vergílio in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cunha SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
