Tupe FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute, Isaltino Alvarenga made a precise shot to the right of Sydney Zonta. Tupe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Periquara's Téo Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafinha Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Nando Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Téo Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Periquara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Téo Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. Isaltino Alvarenga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Sydney Zonta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Isaltino Alvarenga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tupe FC's Sydney Zonta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaltino Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Sydney Zonta made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Isaltino Alvarenga sped through Tupe FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sydney Zonta. 61 minutes into the match, Periquara's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Carvalho came free, but Rafinha Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Periquara defense, Jonas Bittencourt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafinha Jacinto. The Periquara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafinha Jacinto should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Isaltino Alvarenga sped through Tupe FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sydney Zonta. In the 72nd minute Isaltino Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaltino Alvarenga in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sydney Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Vides in the 77th minute of the match. Jonas Bittencourt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rafinha Jacinto firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Periquara's Isaltino Alvarenga in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
