Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dinei de Barros kicked off to start the match. Dinei de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Pedro Paulo Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Clóvis Corrêa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the vasco fds and the Hora EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to vasco fds getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Clóvis Corrêa hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, vasco fds's Dinei de Barros broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Hora EC's Dorival Botelho got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes Hora EC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião de Toledo. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hora EC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Cearense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Dinei de Barros notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hora EC's Pedro Paulo Cearense. Pedro Paulo Cearense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastião de Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Iuri de Lima made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Dinei de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Cearense was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Dinei de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hora EC's zone, Angelo Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Cearense came out of the goal and Angelo Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dinei de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Dinei de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Cearense was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Dorival Botelho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iuri de Lima. vasco fds's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iuri de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Iuri de Lima was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Ademir Romero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ademir Romero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro de Queiroz made a kick off. vasco fds's Dinei de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinei de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinei de Barros hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Leandro de Queiroz's late challenge caught a vasco fds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of vasco fds booed when Hora EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinei de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Dinei de Barros fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Pedro Paulo Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei de Barros in the 90th minute of the match. vasco fds were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
