Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, vasco fds's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Bittencourt came free, but Iuri de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei de Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sydney Zonta having to make a save. The supporters of vasco fds booed when Tupe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jonas Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tupe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. Iuri de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iuri de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Carvalho in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes, Tupe FC's Felippe Maciel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iuri de Lima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tupe FC reached it. Dinei de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sydney Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Jonas Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Dinei de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. vasco fds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37th play minutes Dinei de Barros shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sydney Zonta and just under the crossbar into goal. Eduardo Leal struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Iuri de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tupe FC. After 44 minutes, Eduardo Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tupe FC and the vasco fds players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Tupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Leal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Leal made a kick off. Iuri de Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Bittencourt in the 52nd minute. Iuri de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Linares in the 53rd minute of the match. vasco fds's Iuri de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save vasco fds from getting a goal against them. A very good chance. Clóvis Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Zonta having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dinei de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sydney Zonta was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Dinei de Barros notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Tupe FC's Sydney Zonta. Sydney Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
