Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaltino Alvarenga in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Paulo Cearense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Periquara's Isaltino Alvarenga in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hora EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47thth minute of the game Isaltino Alvarenga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hora EC's Pedro Paulo Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Isaltino Alvarenga made the kick off in the second half. Isaltino Alvarenga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Paulo Cearense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rafinha Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro de Queiroz in the 74th minute of the match. Isaltino Alvarenga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Paulo Cearense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Isaltino Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Periquara's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Paulo Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurício Rocha struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Pedro Paulo Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Periquara. Pedro Paulo Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Maurício Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
