Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Isaltino Maciel made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of A A Santa Cruz booed when Adonis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 3 minutes, Isaltino Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A A Santa Cruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Isaltino Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. A A Santa Cruz's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elivélton Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Isaltino Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Isaltino Maciel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elivélton Monteiro was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Elivélton Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte do Nascimento in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Laerte do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Isaltino Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adonis's Elivélton Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elivélton Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laerte do Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Isaltino Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A A Santa Cruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jairo Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas de Godoy in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Adonis's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte do Nascimento came free, but Elivélton Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Valle came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Adonis's Jairo Paiva. But to his dismay, Jairo Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Laerte do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Monteiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Maciel in the 41st minute of play forced Adonis's goalkeeper Elivélton Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Laerte do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte do Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elivélton Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laerte do Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas de Godoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, A A Santa Cruz's Mário Brito got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Adonis's Maurinho Leme couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for A A Santa Cruz. Jairo Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas de Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas de Godoy scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elivélton Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Laerte do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of A A Santa Cruz booed when Adonis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Isaltino Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adonis's Elivélton Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Adonis from getting a goal against them. Jairo Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas de Godoy in the 75th minute of the match. Laerte do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes, Décio Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adonis and the A A Santa Cruz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Décio Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Dias during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jean Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Jairo Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Adonis had won after a very even match.
