Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 8th match minute, Areal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Bastos to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fernando Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Diguinho Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adilson da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Rhudy fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adilson da Costa couldn't finish the play. Claudinei de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinei de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rhudy fc getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Claudinei de Brito hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Davi Linares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diguinho Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Adilson da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fernando Sousa in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Fernando Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Beto Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Rhudy fc's Luís Fernando Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diguinho Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diguinho Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson da Costa in the 44th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni Torres in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fernando Sousa to make the kick off. Adilson da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Diguinho Queiroz made a huge save. The supporters of Areal booed when Rhudy fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Luís Fernando Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Esteves charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durval Esteves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Areal's Diguinho Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Areal from getting a goal against them. Diguinho Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Sousa in the 64th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 67th minute when Luís Fernando Sousa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luís Fernando Sousa didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 74th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Luís Fernando Sousa ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 77th minute, Claudinei de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adilson da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diguinho Queiroz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adilson da Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 88 minute of play. Diguinho Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Adilson da Costa in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diguinho Queiroz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 97th minute, Luís Fernando Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
