In the 11th minute, Elivélton Pinheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gláuber Cabral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Jacinto Lima fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marabitanas's protests and gave Jacinto Lima a yellow card for diving instead. Gláuber Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute, Elivélton Pinheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gláuber Cabral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Marabitanas's Gláuber Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Pinheiro in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Marabitanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Campo Comprido futebol's Bernardo Mattos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wilian Bastos in the 45 minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elivélton Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Campo Comprido futebol's Bernardo Mattos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gláuber Cabral. Gláuber Cabral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Erasmo do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Sandrinho Galvão made a precise shot to the right of Gláuber Cabral. Marabitanas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Cléber Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cléber Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Gláuber Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campo Comprido futebol. Gláuber Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Alvarenga in the 69th minute of play. Bernardo Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Cabral having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Catarinense in the 74th minute of play forced Marabitanas's goalkeeper Gláuber Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Elivélton Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vivaldo Alvarenga might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lúcio do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vivaldo Alvarenga ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th match minute, Marabitanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th match minute, Campo Comprido futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Mattos to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Ernani Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Campo Comprido futebol players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
