Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Léo Vergílio took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute Sandrinho Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Valadares in the 4th minute of play. Sandrinho Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Souto having to interfere. Peregrino's Waldemar Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Valadares in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Lucas Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sandrinho Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Fernandes in the 32nd minute of play forced Peregrino's goalkeeper Waldemar Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiliam Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Horácio Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Geovani Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horácio Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gurinhata SC's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Vergílio came free, but Horácio Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandrinho Valadares got free with Waldemar Souto in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Wiliam Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandrinho Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Waldemar Souto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Wiliam Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sandrinho Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Gurinhata SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Britto came free, but Horácio Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gurinhata SC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Júlio Cordeiro hit a great ball. Wiliam Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Nascimento having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Léo Vergílio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gurinhata SC's Horácio Nascimento. Horácio Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peregrino's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
