With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Carvalho in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raí Eger saved Chafariz AD from getting behind. After having played for 31 minutes, Eusébio Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiro Certo F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Eger having to interfere. Cristiano Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Eusébio Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Melo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cláudio Martins went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Martins got free with Cristiano Melo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osmar Macedo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chafariz AD's zone, Eusébio Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí Eger came out of the goal and Eusébio Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chafariz AD's Raí Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Carvalho in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Elivélton Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Martins in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raúl Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Paulão Mendes fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiro Certo F.C's protests and gave Paulão Mendes a yellow card for diving instead. Chafariz AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
