Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Oswaldo Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidnei Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guga Breckenfeld's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Alberto Carvalho put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rafinha Guimarães. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswaldo Novaes during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oswaldo Novaes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The long shot by Guilherme Teles in the 28th minute really tested Sidnei Reis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rafinha Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Carvalho in the 29th minute of play. Sandrinho Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidnei Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Sandrinho Valladares might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sidnei Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandrinho Valladares ran back to his position shaking his head. Sidnei Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Alberto Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafinha Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Gramadinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. B R U C E L O S E were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Carvalho to make the kick off. If Guga Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Gramadinho's goalkeeper Rafinha Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardinho Paiva. A collision led to Gramadinho getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Renan Teixeira hit a great ball. If Alberto Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Carvalho in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafinha Guimarães saved Gramadinho from getting behind. Ricardinho Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rafinha Guimarães made a huge save. Sandrinho Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidnei Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Guga Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Breckenfeld in the 70th minute of play forced B R U C E L O S E's goalkeeper Sidnei Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Sandrinho Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gramadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandrinho Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Breckenfeld in the 90th minute of play forced B R U C E L O S E's goalkeeper Sidnei Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Guga Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidnei Reis came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Gramadinho's Guga Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Guga Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
