Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rondinha's Egídio Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caco Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Rosa in the 9th minute of the match. Válbson Siqueira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Caco Branco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 16 minutes into the match, Marcacac's goalkeeper Caco Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Siqueira. Hílton de Almeida hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Egídio Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Caco Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egídio Rosa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Caco Branco 21 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Pedrinho Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Caco Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedrinho Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egídio Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Branco having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Olavo Arce hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The Marcacac fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Marcacac's Dino Reis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64thth minute of the game Pedrinho Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rondinha's Cléberson Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caco Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Siqueira in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute Egídio Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Válbson Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rondinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Siqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caco Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson Siqueira's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Pedrinho Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Simão having to interfere. When Pedrinho Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Marcacac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Tinoco couldn't finish the play. If Egídio Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válbson Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Branco having to interfere. Válbson Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Caco Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
