Caco Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donatello Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marcacac fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Rebojinho FC a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Patrício Lopez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marcacac's Caco Branco. 0-2. Hílton de Almeida hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donatello Arantes struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Caco Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rebojinho FC. In the 27th minute, Donatello Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 32 in the game by Dino Reis from a close distance when the talented Dorian Santana managed to make a qualified save. Rebojinho FC's players were relieved. If Dino Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Marcacac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. The Marcacac players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rebojinho FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Donatello Arantes made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Rebojinho FC's zone, Dino Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Santana came out of the goal and Dino Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Pedrinho Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marcacac's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Donatello Arantes sped through Marcacac's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caco Branco. Dino Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rebojinho FC's Aírton Bezerra got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Tinoco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorian Santana. Rebojinho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Tinoco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 79th minute, Dino Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorian Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Pedrinho Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Dorian Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marcacac. Marcacac's Dino Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Ian Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marcacac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rebojinho FC the free kick. 92 minutes into the game, one of Rebojinho FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ian Novaes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Donatello Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Branco having to interfere. After 99 played minutes Marcacac got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Batista. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donatello Arantes in the 101st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caco Branco saved Marcacac from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
