Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Oacari's Ronaldão Vergílio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Oacari got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Tinoco. If Severino Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. André Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Goias's Vito Paiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davi Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. André Vasconcelos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vânderson Correia in the 30th minute. Davi Lopes came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Goias's Anselmo Garcia. But to his dismay, Anselmo Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Severino Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Goias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Pereira couldn't finish the play. Chiquinho Tinoco got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 40th minute, Chiquinho Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabrício Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davi Lopes had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Severino Pereira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 0-3 came in the 46th minute when Severino Pereira all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Davi Lopes. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Oacari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Correia to maneuver through the defense. Severino Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Lopes having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Goias's Anselmo Garcia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Severino Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Davi Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrício Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Goias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Silva to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Oacari getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Edmundo Toscano hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Severino Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With splendid footwork Severino Pereira arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-5 by the left pole in the game's 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Vânderson Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Oacari's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Severino Pereira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle sounded Goias left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oacari.
