Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hamílton Almeida started the match with the kick off. Davi Lopes made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Rafa Trevisan sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute of the match Norwich Canaries FC got a corner. Oacari's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rony Paraibano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rony Paraibano made a great header on Norwich Canaries FC's corner, it was just that Oacari's Davi Lopes managed to reach the ball for a save. Hamílton Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Lopes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Oacari's zone, Rafa Trevisan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi Lopes came out of the goal and Rafa Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Oacari getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Chiquinho Tinoco hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Remo Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Oacari's Luís Fernando Barreto tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hamílton Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafa Trevisan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Davi Lopes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldão Vergílio in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Maria Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Vergílio in the 30th minute of play forced Norwich Canaries FC's goalkeeper José Maria Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ronaldão Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hamílton Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hamílton Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Lopes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chiquinho Tinoco in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Bastos saved Norwich Canaries FC from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldão Vergílio to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Norwich Canaries FC booed when Oacari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Breckenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Norwich Canaries FC defense, Vânderson Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Bastos. The Norwich Canaries FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Bastos should have stopped the shot. Davi Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Rafa Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norwich Canaries FC's protests and gave Rafa Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Norwich Canaries FC's Rafa Trevisan got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Ronaldão Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Rony Paraibano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davi Lopes skillfully saved the ball. After 71 played minutes Oacari got a freekick which was hit by Nando Severo. In the 74th match minute, Norwich Canaries FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Melo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ronaldão Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oacari's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldão Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute Hamílton Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vânderson Correia got free with José Maria Bastos in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
