Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emanuel Aguiar got the match started through his kick off. When Principe FC's Roberto Severo in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manimbu AD's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Severo might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arí Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Severo ran back to his position shaking his head. Arí Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Bezerra in the 7th minute of play. Egídio Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauã Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Egídio Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arí Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arí Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Manimbu AD got a freekick which was hit by Cido Barros. In the 25th minute, Cido Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvério Negri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arí Penha. Manimbu AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roberto Severo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arí Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Severo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st match minute, Principe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egídio Bezerra in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arí Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arí Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Bezerra in the 43rd minute of play. Principe FC's Roberto Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Roberto Severo made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Arí Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Egídio Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Principe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Egídio Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arí Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Emanuel Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. After having played for 72 minutes, Roberto Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Principe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manimbu AD's Arí Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Severo in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Principe FC's zone, Fernando Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho de Godoi came out of the goal and Fernando Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Egídio Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arí Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egídio Bezerra went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Roberto Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match, Egídio Bezerra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arí Penha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 96th minute Principe FC were awarded a corner. Silvério Negri went to the cornerflag to take it. Nestor da Mata was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Principe FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
