Eliseu Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Nascimento having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Icaissara SC's goalkeeper Jano Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Hames. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseu Hames got free with Jano Nascimento in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sílvio Luiz Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jano Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseu Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jano Nascimento. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Zé Augusto Paulista made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luiz Pirani notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Icaissara SC's Jano Nascimento. Jano Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 57 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amaro EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luiz Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Icaissara SC's Zé Augusto Paulista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexsandro Zanette. That made the score 2-1 after 60 minutes of play. Agostinho Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Zanette having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Icaissara SC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Hames came free, but Jano Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Luiz Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luiz Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Zé Mineiro's late challenge caught a Icaissara SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilvan Garcia during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Amaro EC booed when Icaissara SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilvan Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Amaro EC's Eliseu Hames sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jano Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amaro EC had played much better football throughout.
