Noite Sombria Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atlético Nacional the free kick. After 10 played minutes Noite Sombria Fc got a freekick which was hit by Aluísio Alvarenga. Jimeno Serafo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Edu Dias made a huge save. Clube Atlético Nacional were furious when José Maria Antunes was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 18th match minute, Clube Atlético Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Bilbo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Edu Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noite Sombria Fc. Durvalino Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luiz Gerber to strike the kick off in the second half. Edu Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 96 minutes, Jimeno Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noite Sombria Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Serafo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noite Sombria Fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Clube Atlético Nacional for a fine match.
