Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tadeu Penha got the match started through his kick off. Danilo Meirelles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Pirani having to make a save. When Tadeu Penha came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Quebrangulo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Penha couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olhos azuis SA's goalkeeper Nestor Pirani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duda Travassos in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeu Penha in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Pirani saved Olhos azuis SA from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laerte Alvarenga got free with Carlos Eduardo Rosa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Tadeu Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quebrangulo's zone, Robinho Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Eduardo Rosa came out of the goal and Robinho Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the game, Gilmar Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olhos azuis SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebrangulo the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Olhos azuis SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Domingues to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Tadeu Penha notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Olhos azuis SA's Nestor Pirani. Nestor Pirani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laerte Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When Váldson Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebrangulo's protests and gave Váldson Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Quebrangulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Quebrangulo's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Travassos came free, but Carlos Eduardo Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Laerte Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olhos azuis SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Laerte Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Eduardo Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Laerte Alvarenga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Eduardo Rosa was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Olhos azuis SA's Gilmar Chaves got a free kick in the 68th minute. Laerte Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Rosa having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Tadeu Penha took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Nestor Pirani to make any attempt to save it. Gilmar Domingues struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Carlos Eduardo Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olhos azuis SA. In the 89th minute Tadeu Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olhos azuis SA's Nestor Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Olhos azuis SA from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quebrangulo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
