Aílton Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Madureira in the 13th minute of play. Noel Madureira might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aílton Paraense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noel Madureira ran back to his position shaking his head. Binhas Zone's Noel Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Freire in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro de Godoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro de Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. With an all-out effort, Silves SS's Teodoro de Godoy threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ricardinho Freire, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
