Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lúcio Rezende got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Itamonte's Oswaldo Marquez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 12th play minute Zé Pedro Pontes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lauro Xavier. 2-0. In the 15th minute, Alessandro Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Oswaldo Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Xavier was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Lauro Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Charles de Queiroz lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 21 minutes into the game, one of El Otro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute, Itamonte's Fernandinho Rezende dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. If Zé Pedro Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Oswaldo Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Xavier was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Itamonte's goalkeeper Rômulo Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, El Otro's Leandro Carioca got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Edgar de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Otro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edgar de Amaral, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rômulo Dantas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lauro Xavier came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Itamonte's Oswaldo Marquez. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 78th match minute, El Otro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lauro Xavier having to make a save. The supporters of Itamonte booed when El Otro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Itamonte's Fernandinho Rezende got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute of the match, Edgar de Amaral got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rômulo Dantas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Edgar de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hudson Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Dantas having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Itamonte fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Otro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
