Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dalmo Rodrigues started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Todesengel F. M.'s Norberto Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Norberto Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Todesengel F. M.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Paulo Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmo Rodrigues was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Todesengel F. M.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Pedro Luís Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Roberto Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Salgado in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Pedro Luís Amaral put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zé Roberto Fonseca. After a defensive mix-up in Parada's zone, Dalmo Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Brasil came out of the goal and Dalmo Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Todesengel F. M. booed when Parada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Todesengel F. M.'s Zé Roberto Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Salgado in the 39th minute of play. When Norberto Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Todesengel F. M. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Fontes couldn't finish the play. After the first half Parada were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Luís Amaral made a kick off. José Paulo Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Pedro Luís Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parada's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Todesengel F. M.'s goalkeeper Zé Roberto Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Salgado. When Bernardinho Zilles fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Todesengel F. M.'s protests and gave Bernardinho Zilles a yellow card for diving instead. Vladimir Salgados short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Zé Roberto Fonseca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zé Roberto Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Amaral in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Salgado got free with Zé Roberto Fonseca in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Parada walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
