The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rômulo Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Enéas Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rômulo Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Mendonça in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Resplendor's Benjamin Correia got a free kick in the 20th minute. Enéas Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano de Castro in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Resplendor's Celso Porto got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Valdemar de Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rômulo Bueno was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Maurinho Passos helped the player get up and apologised. Maurinho Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Resplendor got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Xavier.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogério Neves to make the kick off. Fabiano de Castro took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Arantes. Enéas Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdemar de Mendonça got free with Rômulo Bueno in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enéas Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Resplendor's Rogério Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enéas Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breno Teles went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Resplendor's Enéas Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Severo in the 80th minute of play. Celso Porto hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Fabiano de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Breno Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Neves struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Rômulo Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resplendor. 92 minutes into the match, Fabiano de Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Arantes. Resplendor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabiano de Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Enéas Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano de Castro in the 96th minute of play. Chupeta SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
