In the 9th minute, Nelson do Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campos AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Raça Coral SC's Lucas Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Augusto Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Seco in the 15th minute of play. A hard shot 23 in the game by Nelson do Vale from a close distance when the talented Gugu Munhoz managed to make a qualified save. Raça Coral SC's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Lucas Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Augusto Lopez was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelson do Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeferson Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gugu Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Campos AD's Nelson do Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gugu Munhoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Lucas Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Augusto Lopez. Lucas Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Carlos Augusto Lopez made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Belmiro de Souza sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Augusto Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75thth minute of the game Nelson do Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raça Coral SC's Gugu Munhoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduardo Trancoso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Bruno Ramos's late challenge caught a Raça Coral SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Raça Coral SC booed when Campos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Nelson do Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2.
