In the 82ndth minute of the game Virgílio Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campos AD's Carlos Augusto Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Nelson do Vale notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rebojo SS's Bernardinho Fantini. Bernardinho Fantini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeferson Dante struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardinho Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
