The supporters of Power Soccer FC booed when Pendurao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Thomás da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Power Soccer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomás da Silva couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Doriva Secco made a precise shot to the right of Germano Moraes. Pendurao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Américo Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Pendurao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Maranhense couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramón de Souza during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pendurao getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ramón de Souza hit a great ball. Power Soccer FC's Doriva Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomás da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Germano Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Moraes having to interfere. Maurinho Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

If Américo Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Maranhense scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ediberto Trevisan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 76 minutes, Doriva Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Power Soccer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doriva Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When %teams%'s Doriva Secco was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-2 just inside the left pole, 80 minutes into the game. Germano Moraes was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After 83 played minutes Power Soccer FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Palmeira. Germano Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Doriva Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Power Soccer FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
