Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guto Maciel started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Guto Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Água e Limão FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guto Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Cleiton Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Água e Limão FC's Alessandro Albuquerque got control of the ball when Matías Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlando Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes of play, Itumbiara SS's Matías Pernambucano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Albuquerque was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cleiton Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleiton Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Água e Limão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Arósio to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Tomé Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Antônio Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alessandro Albuquerque made a huge save. Matías Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Albuquerque having to interfere. Matías Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alessandro Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlando Queiroz was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes, Itumbiara SS's Antônio Vidal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alessandro Albuquerque came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itumbiara SS reached it. Água e Limão FC's Alessandro Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Damião in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Natanael Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itumbiara SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natanael Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Orlando Queiroz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessandro Albuquerque. Água e Limão FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Água e Limão FC's Alessandro Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Queiroz in the 68th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Guto Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itumbiara SS's Valdo Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alessandro Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Gaspar in the 71st minute of play.
