In the 12th minute, Nilmar Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kauan Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Túlio Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Simão having to interfere. Nicolas Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Salgado in the 21st minute of the match. Nicolas Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauan Moreno was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes, Jaguaruana AD's Jeferson Rosado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gernando Simão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jaguaruana AD reached it. 54 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lagarto EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaguaruana AD the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lagarto EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee ignored Lagarto EC's protests and gave Norberto Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Eger in the 66th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolas Vale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Jaguaruana AD getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Túlio Cardoso hit a great ball. Jaguaruana AD's Nicolas Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Jaguaruana AD from getting a goal against them. Kauan Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gernando Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Lagarto EC's Norberto Salgado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 80 minutes into the match, Nilmar Varela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicolas Vale, 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Lagarto EC's zone, Kauan Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gernando Simão came out of the goal and Kauan Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Lagarto EC's Jorge Eger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Gernando Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva Corrêa in the 97th minute of the match. Jaguaruana AD's attack was well implemented in the 98th minute, but when Kauan Moreno was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Although Jaguaruana AD had been in control for most of the match, Lagarto EC still came away with the win.
