Nilson Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Luiz Gustavo Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Itapitanga SS's zone, Cauã Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Guedes came out of the goal and Cauã Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moisés Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Itapitanga SS got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Baptista. Manaparu SC were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Itapitanga SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gugu Guedes took the corner. The corner ended in Gugu Guedes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Itapitanga SS's Nilson Guedes did a great save.
