Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dedé Vander started the match with the kick off. Didi Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Jaime Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacauba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apuhy EC the free kick. João Augusto Netto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didi Jacinto having to make a save. Jacinto Rosado made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when José Augusto Koehler sent off a good shot on target. João Augusto Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th match minute, Bacauba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Veiga to maneuver through the defense. When Jânio Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Apuhy EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Brodel couldn't finish the play. Jânio Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Didi Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Siqueira charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Siqueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bacauba's Alfredo Siqueira got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Bacauba defense, João Augusto Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi Jacinto. The Bacauba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi Jacinto should have stopped the shot. Didi Jacinto came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Apuhy EC's Jânio Brodel. But to his dismay, Jânio Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. João Augusto Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Jacinto having to interfere. José Paulo Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Jacinto having to interfere. Jânio Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Didi Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Augusto Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Apuhy EC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jânio Brodel was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Bacauba getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jaime Nascimento hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bacauba's Didi Jacinto got control of the ball when João Augusto Netto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, João Augusto Netto notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bacauba's Didi Jacinto. Didi Jacinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Didi Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute, Bacauba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after João Augusto Netto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Júlio Paes shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Murilo Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Didi Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Flávio Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacauba's protests and gave Flávio Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Bacauba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Didi Jacinto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After recieving a nice pass, Apuhy EC's Júlio Paes tried to score from far away in the 99th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Apuhy EC played a much better game than Bacauba and deserved their victory. The Bacauba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
