Galuado SS's Luisinho Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If José Augusto Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedé Vander in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Hoffmann saved Galuado SS from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Bacauba's Jaime Nascimento got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Bacauba's Didi Jacinto got control of the ball when Luisinho Nóbrega tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dudu de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Jacinto having to interfere. Dedé Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Michel Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisinho Nóbrega in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Didi Jacinto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 45th minute, José Augusto Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Galuado SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luisinho Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Didi Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dudu de Sena's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu de Sena in the 92nd minute of play forced Bacauba's goalkeeper Didi Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Galuado SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Bacauba's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
